Former Polish interior minister found guilty
WARSAW, Poland _ Former Polish Interior Minister General Czeslaw Kiszczak was on Thursday found guilty in a trial revolving around his involvement in the imposition of martial law in Poland in 1981. The judge at the court in Warsaw handed 86-year-old Kiszczak a two-year-suspended sentence. His co-accused, Stanislaw Kania, former secretary general of Poland's Communist Party, was found not guilty.
